Beth Lovett joined webMethods in 1999 and serves as Director, Consumer Goods & Retail Solutions. Her current responsibilities include defining and positioning webMethods solutions for retailers, consumer goods manufacturers, and marketplaces serving the industry. In this role, Ms. Lovett works with webMethods customers and prospects, as well as industry organizations, to determine how webMethods can best serve this particular vertical industry. Ms. Lovett serves as webMethods’ liaison to the Uniform Code Council and its subsidiaries, including UCCnet and Auto-ID, Inc.

Prior to joining webMethods, Ms. Lovett was a Business Consulting Manager with Manugistics e-Business Strategy organization. At Manugistics, Ms. Lovett developed and implemented supply chain solutions for global consumer goods companies, including Gillette, Nabisco, Timberland, and Wegmans Food Markets. She was also an active member of the VICS CPFR committee. In this capacity, Ms. Lovett gained extensive experience solving consumer goods supply chain problems through the application of collaborative business processes and internet-based solutions. Ms. Lovett also spent several years with UPS’s Logistics Services group providing strategic supply chain solutions to Fortune 500 companies.

Ms. Lovett has a BS degree in Business Logistics and International Business from Penn State University.
