About CDO Technologies
CDO is an experienced business and technology
solutions company dedicated to leveraging emerging high
technology to empower our customers’ realization of
improved operations and competitive advantage. With over
300 professionals, CDO focuses on Automatic
Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) solutions,
enterprise technology solutions, enterprise application
and software solutions, corporate and information
security solutions, and multimedia and
video-teleconferencing solutions.
CDO has implemented a variety of RFID solutions for
both the military and commercial markets. At a major Air
Force Logistics Center, CDO used active RFID tags for
tracking assets from receipt, through repair, to release
for shipment. CDO’s process analysis led to a wireless
network solution that can locate any tagged asset in the
facility. At a major health care center, CDO implemented
both a wireless local area network and an RFID
infrastructure to track mobile medical equipment. In
three hospitals, 10,000 assets of healthcare equipment
were fitted with active RFID tags. This system greatly
improved the business processes and automated workflow,
positively impacting patient care. CDO has an
experienced staff of RFID integrators that can provide
an efficient RFID solution for any environment. CDO has
also implemented pilot RFID projects in a Navy Repair
Center and Army Command to evaluate the technology.
CDO is a member of the Automatic Identification
Manufacturers (AIM) Association. Our AIM membership
provides us access to a full spectrum of AIDC equipment
and solutions providers. CDO, as a part of Wright Center
of Innovation (WCI), is in the process of planning the
implementation of an ePC Certification Center to be
managed by the Uniform Code Council (UCC). CDO is also a
voting member on the following Standards Committees:
Part Marking; Unique Identification (UID) Standards; and
Radio Frequency Identification.
