Kai Figwer Director of Systems
Integration LXE

Kai Figwer is
currently Director of Systems Integration, of
LXE Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EMS
Technologies, Inc. LXE designs and manufactures
rugged data collection solutions including
wireless computers, advanced auto-ID
technologies, and wireless networking products
that improve performance of supply chain
execution applications.
As Director of Systems
Integration, Kai oversees all aspects of
management for developing and executing new
customer-specific business opportunities that
capitalize on LXE’s strong RF engineering and
product integration services capabilities.
Kai has been with LXE for
more than six years and has held various
management roles in the marketing and
engineering functions. Most recently he was Sr.
Manager Mobile Products, where he was
responsible for mobile computing product
management activities; and has previously held
the position of Program Manager in the
development of LXE’s mobile computing platforms.
Kai previously spent three
years with Sypris Test & Measurement, F.W.
Bell Products. He held various positions in
engineering and product line management. Prior
to that, he served eight years in various
assignments as an Opto-Mechanical Engineer for
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control
Systems.
Kai is a graduate of the
University of Vermont School of Mechanical
Engineering and holds an MBA degree from Crummer
Graduate School, Rollins College.
