Rick Bauer

Rick Bauer oversees all aspects of the Paxar RFID
Smart Label Research Team. His team is responsible for
Paxar’s RFID Smart Label research, development,
manufacturing, and successful launch to the market.
Rick joined Monarch Marking Systems (later acquired
by Paxar) in 1984 following a 10 year tenure at General
Motors. During his time at Paxar, Rick has managed
Quality Control, Printer Research, served as the
Director for Printer and Supply Manufacturing, and
Director for the research, development and management of
Supplies Products. Rick was named to his current
position in early 2004.
Rick has a Bachelor of Science degree from the
General Motor's Institute (GMI) and received an MBA from
the University of Dayton.
