Richard Kaniss

Richard Kaniss has over 24 years of sales and
marketing experience supporting various specialized
software and hardware solutions for the retail,
logistics and government community. He started his
first company in the early 80’s selling and supporting
specialized software and hardware to various DoD
suppliers and commercial companies.
Rich has a dual track career as a
transportation and logistics Colonel in the United
States Army Reserve. He has extensive field experience
in transportation and logistics issues. He recently
returning from a two year tour overseas in support of
Operation Enduring Freedom – Philippines. COL Kaniss
was the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics for the US
Army in Japan and then moved to Okinawa as the deputy
commander for the Army on Okinawa to support the
operations in the Philippines.
Rich has an MBA from the University
of Colorado and a BS from teh University of Tennessee.
