Robert Steinberg President Productivity by
RFID
|
Rob has been
integrating systems, managing large projects,
deploying new technologies and leading start ups
throughout his professional life. He has deep
experience with both continuous process
manufacturing and job shop/project-based
construction and assembly. This gives him unique
understanding of RFID’s value across multiple
industries and the know-how to design successful
RFID deployments.
Prior to founding
Productivity by RFID, Rob spent nine years
leading multiple growth initiatives at Fortune
500, $5 billion Avery Dennison. Rob became
involved with RFID while leading the marketing
effort of a multi-division team assessing needs
for inventory tracking, anti-diversion,
anti-theft, homeland security, brand protection
and rebate fraud. He also founded and led a new
division to develop, manufacture and sell thin,
printed, electronic display systems. His
division was showcased to Wall Street on two
occasions. Rob holds a patent in electrochromic
display systems for retail applications. Prior
to joining Avery, he managed the construction
and start up of large building and process
facilities – integrating structural, electrical
and process systems to complete $20-90 Million
contracts on schedule, budget and quality.
Rob has two engineering
degrees and an MBA from M.I.T.
